Boys & Girls Club of Webster-Dudley Hosts 23rd Annual Golf Tournament, Raising $20,000 for Youth Programs
September 7, 2024, Dudley, MA — The Boys & Girls Club of Webster-Dudley is proud to announce the success of its 23rd Annual Golf Tournament, held at the scenic Dudley Hill Golf Club. The tournament, sponsored by P&P General Contractors, as well as 50 other businesses and individuals, raised an impressive $20,000 in support of the Club’s vital programs that provide youth in the Webster-Dudley area with safe and enriching opportunities.
This year’s tournament featured the Hole-in-One contest, sponsored by O’Connor & Co. Insurance Agency, Inc. The event was co-chaired by community leaders John Lefebvre, Linda Littleton, and Cheryl Hackenson, whose efforts were instrumental in making the day a success. Funds were raised through generous sponsorships, a live auction, and raffle prizes, all of which contributed to the impressive fundraising total.
Following the tournament, participants and supporters gathered for a reception at Nichols College’s Bison’s Den, where they celebrated the day’s achievements.
Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Webster-Dudley, Liz Hamilton, expressed her gratitude: “We are incredibly thankful for the overwhelming support from the community.
